Only the State of Florida is authorized to issue Certified Nursing Assistant licenses.
The responsibilities of a certified nursing assistant include assisting with turning, repositioning, feeding, grooming, and bathing individuals who may be unable to help themselves.
You will actively participate in skill-building activities, which may involve supporting fellow students acting as residents or using a manikin, depending on the training scenario.
You do not have physical limitations that would prevent you from completing all required skills for the course and taking the State of Florida examination. Success in this program requires prior self-study, active participation in class, and a positive, motivated attitude. It is essential to thoroughly review the course materials and practice exams to adequately prepare for both written and clinical assessments.
Our commitment is to maintain a professional, educational, and engaging learning environment. If you feel this standard is not met at any time, please notify the Clinical Director promptly.
For students for whom English is a second language or those who have difficulty reading English, an audio version of the State examination is available in both English and Spanish. A $5 fee applies for this service.
All sales, including credit card payments, are final. In cases of emergency that prevent course completion, you may attend missed classes within one month of initial registration. Beyond this period, all fees are forfeited. Replacement booklets require an additional fee.
The school reserves the right to request a student's departure from the premises if conduct is inappropriate for an adult education setting.
The institution does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. Students are advised to keep valuables, including jewelry, at home.
